Day 11 - Clay Bank Top to Glaisdale

Comment: 19 miles - a long but gentle walk following adismantled railway in remote moorland - long and welcome lunch atthe Lion Inn

I found this section of the walk quite bewitching: the wideexpanses of rolling, open moorland ever stretching into thedistance. The weather was slightly misty in places, not rainingbut still rather damp, and as we crossed one hill after anotherwe wondered how much further this empty place would take us.
