Day 9 - Richmond to Osmotherley

Comment: 25 miles - we took the bus

The pains in our feet and our aching limbs told us that the 25 mile trek, mainly along roads, would be impossible. Richmond, being the largest town on the Coast-to-Coast route benefits from many bus routes, and we were able to plan a bus to Northallerton (where we did our laundry at a launderette again) and then on to Osmotherley.

Like most of the B&Bs on the route, there was a pub nearby where we could enjoy a hearty meal before an early night. This day of rest restored our optimism as well as our aches and pains, and we made plans to rejoin the coast-to-coast path the next morning.
